Coachella Hockey was founded in 2021, the inaugural year for the NHL’s Seattle Kraken hockey club. The site regularly covers both day-to-day transaction news, game day previews and postgame articles and also performs deeper analysis. For the 2021-2022 season, the Kraken, along with the Florida Panthers, are using the Charlotte Checkers as their AHL affiliate, so the site will be concentrating on the Kraken players who are assigned to the Checkers.
